ECS and Sarah Hanna have been a huge lift to our entire company, since they have taken over the billing of my DME and Infusion claims. Due to my delay and reluctance in eliminating my billing department and our continued inability to bill efficiently our company's future looked grim. ECS and Sarah saw the urgency and started working on our AR with confidant intensity. Within 4 month's our DSO has literally gone from 120 days to 60 days without me and my sales department expending incredible amounts of energy in this area. ECS Billing and Consulting has literally partnered up with Metro Medical and become part of our team. As a business owner, I love them because I never get a machine when I call. My questions are answered the same day with complete confidence because they back it up with written documentation from CMS. The communication between the Metro staff and the ECS staff is normally 3-6 times a day, both electronically and via phone. Our Tulsa staff love that they feel they are working with someone just in the office around the corner. Our denial rate has dropped and the interesting point is that none of our denials are due to ECS, all come from our end. As a staff manager, the burden of vacations, sick time or even turnover is not a concern anymore. I would never consider doing billing in house again.
